Is a bitcoin investment with guaranteed daily returns a scam?
Yes. Nobody can guarantee a daily return on bitcoin or any other crypto asset; prices go up and down and no trading bot changes that. A guarantee means the "returns" are paid from other people's deposits or simply shown on a screen until you try to withdraw.
These offers come through Facebook adverts, Telegram groups and online friends. The platform shows daily profits, the support team is friendly, and the withdrawal needs a fee. Mining packages and "AI bots" are the same scheme with different words.
How to check
- The word "guaranteed" next to any investment return is the sign. Walk away.
- Search the platform's name with "scam" and "withdrawal".
- Check the FSCA register and warnings for the company.
- Never send crypto or an EFT to an address or account you got from a stranger.
- If you are already in, stop depositing and keep every record.
Frequently asked questions
- Is bitcoin itself a scam?
- No. Bitcoin is a real asset you can buy from authorised exchanges. The scam is the promise of guaranteed returns.
