1. What Veritaza does

Veritaza runs a check for warning signs based on what you send us: photos, mobile number, email, name or username, parts of messages and a photo of an ID. The result is a report with seven boxes, each one green, yellow or red, with one sentence.

2. What Veritaza does not promise

No check can catch every scammer. A report with no warning signs is a good sign, but it is not proof that the person can be trusted. A warning sign is not proof that the person is a scammer. We never say that an ID is genuine: we only look for signs of tampering. Searches for scam cases and complaints can show people with the same name: always use the link to confirm if it is the same person.

3. For personal use only

You confirm that the report is for your personal use only, to decide whether to trust a person you are in contact with. You may not publish the report, use it to shame, threaten or harass anyone, or use it to decide on hiring, a loan or a lease.

4. What we never show

The report never shows an address, where the person lives, a partner or family. We do not use face recognition. We never tell the person who was checked.

5. Digital fingerprints

From the photos and numbers you send, we keep a digital fingerprint: a code calculated from the photo or the number (SHA-256) that cannot be turned back into the photo or the number and carries no name. We also keep how many times the same code was checked and how many people answered that the person asked them for money. That is how check 5 can say "other people have already checked these photos". Digital fingerprints are deleted 2 years after the last check.

6. Payment

The report costs ₱199 and is paid with GCash, through our payment partner dLocal. We do not accept cards.

7. How long the report is available

The link to the report works for 30 days. After that, the report and everything you sent us are deleted.

8. If you think you were flagged by mistake

If you think something about you is wrong, or you want us to delete the digital fingerprint of your photo or your number, email us at ola@veritaza.com. We reply on working days and correct or delete what is wrong.
