Veritaza

The matrimonial profile has no photo or only one photo. Is that a bad sign?

On its own, no. Many genuine people, especially those from conservative families or with a public job, hide their photos until there is real interest. It becomes a sign when the person also refuses to share photos privately, avoids video calls and gives different reasons each time.

A single, very polished photo – studio quality, model-like – is a different matter: it is easier to steal one perfect photo than a set of everyday ones. Ask for a few casual photos and a short video call before going further.

What to ask for

  1. Ask for two or three everyday photos privately, not studio portraits.
  2. Suggest a short video call; a genuine person will agree once interest is mutual.
  3. Reverse image search any photo you do receive.
  4. If the person keeps refusing photos and calls but moves fast on marriage talk, step back.

Frequently asked questions

Is it rude to ask for more photos?
No. On a matrimonial site everyone expects it. Ask politely and give your own in return.
